There are so many people who live in fear because of what they are afraid of. They are not necessarily afraid of the Boogeyman or the ghosts which roam their houses when the lights are off. They know this stuff is make-believe. Some people choose to live their lives in fear because they are afraid of what they think might happen at the hands of another human being or Mother Nature. It's August in North Western Canada and global warming has brought with it tropical monsoons and hurricanes people have never seen before. Hartley Bay, famous for its Native preservation and fisheries is also being threatened by another form of anomaly--economic prosperity. As resorts are being developed in Hartley Bay, blood is being shed as the Natives fight with land developers. Did someone say blood?

- EDITING APOLOGY
To all readers and fans, I would deeply like to offer my sincerest apologies for the editing quality of a couple of my books. Sometimes you trust publishers and editors (especially when you are paying them fair sums of money) to best represent your work, and they let you down. I have had the misfortunes of working with one publisher (now bankrupt and being investigated for white-collar crimes) who was not trustworthy with over 250 authors (myself included) and a national editor posing as elite in their career to be nothing more than a hack. It deeply saddens me that this has happened to me as well as other fellow authors. If you are one of these individuals, you have my utmost and sincerest apologies as you matter very much to me. My new publishers have been very accommodating and we have worked to change these books. Thank you.
